Anodizing Service

A service for all of you who like DIY: If you'd like your self-made aluminium parts to have this nice black finish comparable to factory parts, anodizing is the thing you're looking for!
If you want your parts to be anodized, just drop me a line and send the parts to me. They will be included in the next scheduled anodizing run.
The price charged for this service varies depending on the quality of the metal surface of your part and the work needed to mount the part on the rack. I will be glad to give you a rough estimate of the costs involved.

Some hints concerning anodizing:

• If you haven't yet produced your part, please send me a line before you start! I might be able to give you some helpful advice as to which alloys are suitable for anodizing.
• Nearly any type of alloy can be anodized in black color. The majority of alloys can be anodized clear and some alloys can be coated in special colors like red, blue or golden.
• To get a perfect finish, the metal surface should be sand-blasted or glass-blasted before anodizing.

I'll be happy to give you some advice as to which surface treatment will be best for your needs.
