Astronomik lens filters
Lens filters are - as the name suggests - screwed directly into the filter thread of the lens of DSLR and system cameras. When purchasing a lens filter, it is important to ensure that the filter diameter matches the respective lens size.
We offer our filters against light pollution, infrared pass filters, UV-IR Block filters and MC-Clear glass in this version.
Please note that the Astronomik filters against light pollution should not be used in front of lenses with a focal length of less than 50mm (35 mm equivalent), as this arrangement can result in colour gradients in the image. In such cases, our Astronomik Clip-Filters are the better choice, as they are placed between the camera body and lens, thus ensuring a consistent filtering effect over the entire image field.
Detailed insights into each filter’s specific applications can be found on the individual product pages.
