- Filter foil with a neutral density (ND) of 0.6 that matches the D420mm Aurora
The filter foil reduces the energy output across the whole spectrum by a factor of 4. This allows longer exposure times for cameras with slow shutters and/or fast optical systems. The foil is placed inside the Aurora. With combinations of all three densities offered (ND 0.6, ND 0.9 and ND 1.2), the brightness can be adjusted very accurate to match the needs of a certain optical setup.
If you order your Aurora together with one or more ND foils, the foils will be shipped installed inside the Aurora.
